Robert Nakata
Dr. Bob Nakata is a 35-year veteran of Silicon Valley startups and public companies in the technology industry and is a co-founder of Nuveia LLC. He is a subject matter expert on IOT sensors, radar remote sensing, direction finding and geolocation algorithms. Dr. Nakata developed a patented wearable sensor using a hybrid RF and Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) positioning system that uses sensor fusion to obtain precise position estimates. B. L. Petersen
Dr. Petersen has been working in the field of cognitive neuroscience for over 20 years and is a co-founder of Nuveia LLC.. His Ph.D. doctoral work at UC Berkeley was in experimental physics, where he measured and modeled electron scattering measurements with computational holography. It was during his Humboldt Fellowship in Berlin that he started modeling brain activity with holograms and in 2002 he founded a neural network company in Taiwan, WaveTronex, Inc., where he served as the General Manager and CTO. Dr. Petersen then joined Foxconn in Taiwan as the Director of the Software Technology Research Center and later also as the Director of Artificial Intelligence. See more…
Robbie Nakata
Robbie Nakata has designed and built complex electro-mechanical systems. He has worked extensively on 3D mapping and thermal imaging using infrared, ultrasonic, and optical sensors as well as inertial positioning systems for large volume automated manufacturing systems. He has over 10 years of experience with SolidWorks CAD software, including designing enclosures optimized for rapid prototyping and injection molding. He has also designed and constructed large scale 3D printers and CNC mills for custom fabrications.
Robbie holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of California at Irvine.
